I chose this view of Mr. Crane's hallway because when I first chose to do the front entrance, I realized that would be very difficult. So I switched to this hall, deciding it would be simple enough, and plus I really wanted to draw the pop machine!
One problem that I had was drawing the door. In the picture it looks crooked, but on the real page it is more straight. But anyway, the door was difficult, getting the proper angling. And coloring was a nightmare! Because I missed three days of school, finishing it over the weekend wasn't very fun.
I have improved greatly after the "before" drawing. Partly because then I didn't use a ruler. But now I realize how to use the rules of drawing like this, and now I can take my art work another step further.
I think that this drawing was quite successful, compared to my first drawing. I really love how the colors came out and how funky the hallway looks. I am proud of this drawing and hope to continue drawing like this.
